The Town of Willington has just over 6,000 people within it's borders and is mostly a residential community sprinkled with small business, a Federal Express Distribution Facility and a TA Travel Center near Interstate 84 which transects the town. Our department's fire district covers the eastern portion of the town for fire, rescue and medical emergencies but also responds in tandem with the Willington Fire Department #1 in their district as well as surrounding communities when requested. The Willington Hill FD serves as first responder for EMS calls, with Willington FD#1 providing the ambulance service.
