We operate out of 2 stations that protect a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer incentive pay status. In 1990 the fire department merged with the newly incorporated Town of North Topsail Beach as their municipal fire department. Since that merger a second station was added along with two paid personnel. In July 2004 the town board authorized the addition of two more paid fire fighters.
