We operate out of One Base stations that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a private department whose members are on a volunteer status. COMM-Unity Ambulance Service (Cole,Osage,Maries and Miller counties working in unity) came into being in 1987. COMM-Unity Ambulance Service receives no tax money. All Board members, EMT-Bs, Nurses and first responders are unpaid volunteers.
