About Oakland-Mapleville Fire Department:
Oakland-Mapleville Fire Department proudly protects 3500 people living in an area of eight square miles. We operate out of one station that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. The Oakland-Mapleville Fire Department is a volunteer department with 35 members and a chief. The department serves the villages of Oakland, Mapleville and part of the village of Glendale. We provide Fire, EMS and other emergency services. We have an ALS transporting rescue truck with a staff of fourteen EMT'S with eleven of them trained to the EMT-Cardiac level and one trained to the Paramedic level.Oakland-Mapleville Fire Department Organized March 4, 1934 Charter Members
