We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. We are an all Volunteer Dept., responsible for protecting 1.5 miles of residential, and light industry, by performing fire, and related duties, Formed a joint Special Operations Unit, with the Colonia Fire Department, and perform the following rescue specialties; techinical rope rescue, trench rescue, confined space rescue, heavy vehicle extrication, FAST unit, and most aspects of heavy rescue.
