About Wiscasset Fire Department:
The Wiscasset Fire Department proudly protects 3,500 people living in an area of 20 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a paid on call status. The Wiscasset Fire Department consists of 45 active firefighters. We are a paid on call department and run a average of 130 calls per year.We have mutal aid agreements with every town in Lincoln County as well as some departments in neighboring Sagadahoc County.
