About Charley Rouss Fire Company:
Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status. Our hearts and prayers go out to everyone affected by the attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001 and espically to the FDNY, EMS division of FDNY, NYPD, and their families. Chamblissburg Volunteer Rescue Squad is one of 12 rescue squads in Bedford Co. and was formed in 1974. It currently operates with two medic units, one crash truck and one first response unit.
