About Wilton Fire Department:
Wilton Fire Department proudly protects 3000 people living in an area of 25 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. The Town of Wilton is spread out primarily along two major thru-ways in Southern New Hampshire: Rt 101 and Rt 31. Due to this fact our department responds to a high number of motor vehicle accidents, many involving entrapment. As a result our membership has a lot of experience with automobile extrication, and we provide this service to the bordering Towns of Lyndeborough and Greenville, who do not posess hydraulic equipment.
