About Williams Rural Fire Protection District:
The Williams Rural Fire Protection District was founded in 1964. After a year of volunteer fundraising we were able to purchase a "first out engine", a 1934 Ford 1000 gpm pumper which still works! Currently we have new up to date turnouts for all 22 volunteers and a paid Chief.
