We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status. Porter Township Emergency Rescue Squad was formed in 1975 to provide EMS to the citizens of Porter Township and the Wheelersburg area. This Year we are CELEBRATING 25 YEARS OF CARING (1975-2000) to the Community. We are looking forward to provide Emergncy Care for many years to come. Statement of Mission Porter Township Emergency Rescue Association is a provider of emergency medical care and emergency transportation to those persons within Porter Township and, by request of mutual aid to persons outside of Porter Township. We are dedicated to deliver the highest quality of health care in a safe, timely, accurate, and cost effective manner to all those we serve. We will strive to constantly improve reliability and quality of service. In this endeavor, we will commit to on going training and a quality improvement program to objectively and systematically monitor and evaluate all aspects of service and to pursue all opportunities for improvement.
