About West Valley Fire District # 1:
West Valley Fire District # 1 proudly protects 2500 people living in an area of 54 square miles. We operate out of 2 stations that protect a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. The West Valley Fire District # 1 provides protection for the Town of Ashford. Protection is provided by the West Valley Volunteer Hose Company. The Hose Company is comprised of about 100 members.
