About Weaver Fire Department:
Weaver Fire Department proudly protects 10000 people living in an area of 25 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status. The City of Weaver Fire Department is a 25 man combination paid/paid on call department. It operates two engine companies and a rescue/service company. A very agressive fire fighting force is on of our greatest attributes. The department is funded through the budget of the City of Weaver AL, and through a county fire tax.
