About Washington Township Fire Department:
Washington Township Volunteer Fire Department proudly protects 900 people living in an area of 36 square miles. We operate out of 2 stations that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. Washington Twp. Fire serves a very rural area of scenic Hocking County. We are small but aggressive. We have a very active training program. We are trained in ICS, Haz-Mat, first responder, auto extrication. We are active with mutual aid to our neighboring departments.
