About Washington Terrace Fire / Rescue:
Washington Terrace Fire / Rescue proudly protects 10000 people living in an area of 2 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status. Washington Terrace Fire Rescue was established in 1952 by the citizens of a small government owned community. The Firefighters raised the money for the building and the first fire engine. The department started out as a fully volunteer organization and today staffs 2 engines, 2 medical units and 1 brush truck with paid on call/volunteer Fire/EMS personnel.
We use Ogden City for initial ambulance service with South Ogden and Roy City as backups. Weber County provides Paramedic ALS service.
