About Northern Tazewell Fire Protection District:
Northern Tazewell Fire Protection District proudly protects 12000 people living in an area of 30 square miles. We operate out of one station that protect a primarily residential area. Our department is a combination paid/volunteer department. All volunteers play a dual role as firefighters and emergency medical personell answering an average of 2 calls per day. We also have a paid daytime EMS staff. Our EMS, paid and volunteer staff, is trained to the Intermediate Life Support level at this time.
