About West Valley Fire Department:
West Valley Fire Department proudly protects 30000 people living in an area of 50 square miles. We operate out of 3 stations that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. We operate out of 3 stations in West El Paso county. We serve 4 communities and have appox. 40 members. We have 3 class A pumpers, 1 Compressed Air Foam quick attack (CAFS), 3 tankers (1x 5000,2x 2000 gal.), 1 incident support unit (cascade system, extra traffic cones, water, etc), 1 light Hwy-Rescue Truck with (CAFS), 1 military 6 wheel drive brush truck. 1 specialty rescue (high angle/water), and 1 Chief's truck.
