About Union City Fire & Rescue:
Union City Fire & Rescue proudly protects 6977 people living in an area of 185 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a paid on call status. Our department is one of two departments in this dual state communtiy. Union City is located in Central Western Ohio along the Ohio/Indiana border. Station 18 provide's Fire and Ems service to both sides of this community, uniquely certified in both States. Station 18 is primarly used for rural responses for both sides, and inside the village limits in Ohio. Staion 91 (UCIFD) serves their citizens within the city limits. However, we both honor a AMAR response to our citizens in town. Union City is a very nice community to raise a family. So make plans to visit this quiet community along the stateline, as we are referred too: THE HUB OF TWO GREAT STATES.
