Tylersport Volunteer Fire Company proudly protects 3500 people living in an area of 10 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. Our department is located in Northern Montgomery County in Pennsylvania. We cover all of Salford Township and portions of Marlborough, Franconia, and West Rockhill Townships. We also cover a portion of the Northeast extension of the PA Turnpike between the Lansdale and Quakertown interchanges. The turnpike makes up about 65% of our total runs in a year. Our departmnet has members certified in confined space rescue, trench rescue, silo rescue, farm rescue, vehicle rescue, and hazardous materials awareness.
