We operate out of two stations that protect a primarily rural/residential area. Our district is a public district whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status. Tonopah Valley Fire District covers an area of approximately 15 miles along the Interstate 10 corridor. Interstate 10 is a major artery of the nation stretching from the East Coast, to the West Coast. Vehicular traffic along I-10 ranges from the family on vacation to extremely hazardous and volatile commercial truck traffic.Tonopah Valley Fire District is a non profit organization and is funded solely by donations, contributions and taxes to the District.
