About Klein Volunteer Fire Department:
The Klein Volunteer Fire Department is located in Harris County Texas approximately 30 miles northwest of downtown Houston. Klein protects 50 square miles and approximately 100,000 people. The district is comprised of primarily residential and commercial areas with some light industrial and a large private airport. Klein operates out of 7 fire stations and one administration building with 7 pumpers, one dedicated reserve pumper, two Rescue trucks, two 100' Ladders, one 95' Platform, two 3000 gallon Tankers, one Rehab unit, three Brush trucks, and two Rescue Boats. 160 Volunteer supported by a daytime paid duty crew M-F days provide Klein's manpower.
