Scotch Plains Rescue Squad proudly protects 25000 people living in an area of 10 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. The Scotch Plains Rescue Squad Was Formed on March 9, 1937. Is the oldest volunteer rescue squad in Union County. And the 39th formed in the state. Presently serving with 53 members.
