About Savoy Fire Department:
The Village of Savoy Fire Department is a Paid on Call fire department that protects the residents of the Village of Savoy and several other fire protection districts and contract areas close to the village. The population of Savoy is 5,650 with a population of approximately 15,000 served. The Savoy Fire Department has an exclusive ambulance transport agreement with PRO Ambulance Service of Champaign. Under this agreement an Advanced Life Support Ambulance from PRO is assigned to be stationed at the Savoy Fire Station at NO COST to the residents that live in the area's of the Savoy Fire Department Response Area. This ensures a rapid response of Advanced Life Support services to the residents that live in the area that the Savoy Fire Department protects.
