About La Puebla Volunteer Fire & Rescue:
La Puebla Volunteer Fire & Rescue proudly protects 5000 people living in an area of 100 square miles. We operate out of Two stations that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. La Puebla Volunteer Fire & Rescue has been serving the northern Santa Fe County for over 20 years. The volunteers of the community go back to 4 generations in fire & rescue. With only one station in the last 17 years, La Puebla Fire has exceeded all its expectations and currently runs out of two stations, with two class A 1000 gallon pumpers, two 1500 gallon water tanker, a 750 gal. brush truck and a class III rescue unit. La Puebla as been recognized as the areas top volunteer fire departments in the state of New Mexico.
