About Ata-Bexar Co. Line VFD:
Ata-Bexar Co. Line VFD proudly protects 3000 people living in an area of 40 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. Ata-Bexar Co. Line VFD just celebrated its 20th Anniversary of Service to the Community. We provide Primary Fire coverage to our contracted areas in Bexar and Atascosa counties, and also provide ALS, EMS First Response to our contracted areas, in addition to providing Mutual Aid to anyone requesting it. We also have bingo for all interested players every Thursday evening at 7 PM, at the Fire station. Training is held Wednesday evenings at the Station at 7 PM, Business Meeting is 4th Wednesday of the month.
