Our department is staffed by 33 members who are state certified EMT's, Shock Trauma Tech's, Cardiac Tech's, or Paramedics. Many of our members are also state certified firefighters. We average 800 to 900 calls per year, responding to rural, commercial, and residential areas. We run a dual response with Rustburg Volunteer Fire Department to all motor vehicle crashes and fires.
