We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. The Rochester Rescue Squad is a volunteer squad that is a fully Advance Life Support(ALS) unit. There are currently 23 members of the squad, with the requirement that you must live or work in the district, and at minimum be at least an EMT-B. The squad meets weekly for training on every Wedndesday, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, except for the first Wednesday of the Month which is our business meeting.
