About Pedley Fire and Rescue:
Pedley Fire and Rescue proudly protects Approx. 20000 people living in an area of 50 to 70 square miles. We operate out of County of Riverside (85) stations that protect a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status. Pedley Fire works in conjunction with the California Dept. of Forestry and Fire Protection/ Riverside Co. Fire dept. to provide emergency service to the community of Pedley. Pedley is located in the extreme northwest corner of Riverside county. The company is made up of 25 volunteer members. A company rescue squad and varioius rescue equipment is purchased through community donations and fundraiser. We receive no assistance from any government programs. Station 16 responds to approx. 2500 calls annually. We are beginning a fundraising drive so that we can purchase a new rescue squad as well as much needed rescue equipment.
