City of Rio Bravo Fire-EMS Department proudly protects 18000 people living in an area of 30. square miles. We operate out of 2 stations that protect a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status. Our dept. was founded in 1995. We currently man 3 BLS ambulances, one 1500 gal.Pumper firetruck,one fast attack fire truck, one 1200 gal.Water tender, and 15 combination firefighter/medics paid and vol.
