About Pueblo Rural Fire District:
Pueblo Rural Fire District proudly protects 25000 people living in an area of 125 square miles. We operate out of 3 stations that protect a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a paid status. The PRFD is a 50 year old Fire Dept. Our Department is located east of the city of Pueblo Colorado. We service a wide response area which includes commercial, residential, rural, and wildland interface. We have 15 paid with 5 part-time firefighters, We are also Advanced Life support and HAZ-MAT responders. We have mutual aid with surrounding departments.
