About Gouldsboro Fire Department:
Gouldsboro Fire Department proudly protects 2500 people living in an area of 55 square miles. We operate out of 3 stations that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. We are an all volunteer department, serving a sparsely populated coastal community in the down east area of Maine. We are well equipped, and have a very aggressive training program. All of our members are trained to at least Firefighter I level. We have 5 members that are Maine Fire Training and Education certified instructors.
