About Rome Volunteer Fire & Rescue:
The Rome Volunteer Fire Department was established in 1962. We serve a 36 square mile district of rural area. Our area includes Fairland Local School District, which consists of 4 buildings. Our First Responders work in conjunction with Southeast Ohio EMS (SEOEMS) which provides emergency medical service to Larwrence County.
