Portsmouth Ambulance proudly protects 20-30000 people living in an area of 60 square miles. We operate out of 5 stations that protect a primarily residential area. Our department is a private department whose members are on a paid status. Our department proudly services several counties in Ohio and Kentucky. In Ohio we service Scioto, Lawrence, and now serving Pike County. In Kentucky we serve Greenup, Boyd, and Lewis County. We have Ohio and Kentucky EMT's and Paramedics on staff 24 Hours a day over 5 different stations. Our staff are very well trained people lead by Mike Adkins.
