Polk City Volunteer Fire Department proudly protects 2500 people living in an area of 10 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. The Polk City Fire Department has a maximum membership of 35 personnel. We are a volunteer department that takes care of both fire and rescue for our community and rural areas.
