About Candy Kitchen V.F.D/E.M.S:
Candy Kitchen V.F.D/E.M.S proudly protects 3200 people living in an area of 44 square miles. This takes in an automatic aid agreement with Pine Hill VFD. We operate out of two stations that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. We are a small department that serves a large area, Including supporting the forest service in our area and the Ramah Navajo Capter lands. During the winter months we deal with severe weather conditions as the average elevation here is 7500 feet. Our department is staffed by very dedicated indviduals who still believe in supporting their community.
