We operate out of One stations that protect a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status. Lake Shore Volunteer Fire Company is located at the head of the peninsula between the Magothy & Bodkin Rivers in North Central Anne Arundel County. Personel staff an E-One Engine, an E-One 3000 gallon Pumper/Tanker, a Lifeline BLS Ambulance, an extended cab Utility Truck, Mobile rehab 20 a 40' converted MTA Bus and a GMC 250 gallon brush unit. In addition, we are Anne Arundel County's premier water resource and the model for our counties Marine Division. We have in service three boats, a 14' jon boat for shallow water rescue, a 23' C-Hawk and a 35' Fireboat. Our Fireboat is a rehabilitated Coast Guard 33 PWB. The area of resposibility for our Marine Division ranges from the Baltimore Harbor to the South River of the Chesapeake Bay. All in all we cover a majority of the approximatly 320 miles of shoreline within Anne Arundel County.
