We operate out of one stations that protect a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. The City of Oxford Fire Department provides protection for the City of Oxford, Oxford Township, and Miami University. The department consists of a Full-Time Chief, Part-Paid Assistant Chief, and 26 Volunteer Firefighters. The department also has EMS of about 35 EMT's, some who are also Firefighters. We protect a mostly residential population, with Miami University being the largest employer. We also have some light industry with a Square D electrical equipment manufacturing plant.
