Oberlin Fire Department Station 43 Citizens Company No. 1 of Swatara Township.
We operate out of 1 station that protects residential,commercial, and agricultural area.
Our department is a public department whose members are 100% volunteer. The Oberlin Fire Dept. is a Volunteer Fire Company for Men and Women ages 16+. We are a well active company and very busy that I may add. The Oberlin Fire Dept. Responds to Calls with our E-One Hush Pumper as Engine 43, and a Ford Pickup as Utility 43. We cover most of Swatara Township along with Steelton Borough, and Lower Swatara Twp., we also run 4th alarm transfer to Harriburg City Station 2. Oberlin is a wide spread area, we cover from the Paxton Street Home on Paxton Street Down to Angies Diner on Eisenhower Blvd. We also Cover Interstate 83 & Interstate 283
