Taniscot Engine Company proudly protects 2000 people living in an area of 29 square miles. We operate out of 2 stations that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. We are a small department located just off Rt.1 in Coastal Maine. We currently have an active roster of 35 members and run on average 80 calls per year.
