About Red Lick - Leary C-5 Volunteer Fire Department:
C-5 Red Lick - Leary Volunteer Fire Department proudly protects 5000 +/- people living in an area of 15 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. Our Department is 9 years old. We are starting to grow. We do CARE about the people in our area. We have purchased a new Midi - Pumper/Rescue Truck. We are also in the process of up dating our equipment with a loan from the Texas Commission on Fire Protection. We have a station that was built approximately 2 years ago. The loan is approved, we are finishing the station, and improving the trucks that we now have. We are a fairly young department, and have some good ideas. If any one can suggest any thing to help us improve more, it would be greatly appreciated.
