About Munhall Engine Company #2:
Munhall Vol. Fire Company #2 proudly protects 15000 people living in an area of 2.8 square miles. We operate out of 5 stations that protect a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. Munhall Volunteer Fire Company #2 (Allegheny County Station 201) is located in Munhall Borough which is approx. 5 miles from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Munhall Vol. Fire Co. # 2 was established in 1902. We serve our residents in Firefighting, Vehicle Rescue and Rope Rescue. We are highly trained in search and rescue, vehicle extrication and rope rescue. We also assist our Neighboring Communities of Homestead, West Homestead and West Mifflin whenever needed. We also cover part of the new Waterfront Complex located on the old Homestead Mill site which has attracted many new business', restaurants and night clubs. We recently celebrated our 100 year anniversary in 2002 and hope to serve the residents of Munhall Borough for another 100 years. Munhall #2 has training every Wednesday night at 7pm and our monthy meetings are the 2nd Thursday of every month at 7:30pm.
