About BUTLER COUNTY RESCUE SQUAD:
BUTLER COUNTY RESCUE SQUAD proudly protects 20000 people living in an area of 1250 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. Butler County Rescue Squad is a combination of Extrication Specialist and Search and Rescue. We presently have 2 set of Jaws Of Life and a Water Rescue Unit. The Green River runs thru our county making water rescue a neccasary thing. We average close to 100 runs a year. Our main types of runs are Automobile accidents.
