About North Penn Fire Department:
North Penn Fire Department proudly protects 20000 people living in an area of 15 square miles. We operate out of 2 stations that protect a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status. We cover a wide variety of area, from river and farmland to the Hummer military vehicle factory, and a 3,000 student high school. We answer about 750 calls per year. We have 24 volunteers, 2 paid firefighters and a 24-hour county paramedic crew. We are now building our second station, and are the sister department to Penn South F.D. We love this job!
