The Menomonee Falls Fire Department was created in 1894 at the request of its residents. It began with 22 firefighters and a few hand pulled pieces of equipment. Today, the Menomonee Falls Fire Department responses with 28 different units divided among 4 stations and staffed by some 90 plus full-time, part-time, paid-on-call, and volunteer firefighters and EMT's.
