About Mechanicsburg EMS:
Mechanicsburg EMS proudly protects 7500 people living in an area of 75 square miles. We operate out of one stations that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status. Mechanicsburg EMS was formed in 1977. Currently we have two ALS equipped units. In 1999 we responded to 333 calls. Our roster includes 3 Paramedics and 7 EMTs.
