Left Beaver Rescue Squad and Fire Dept. Inc. proudly protects 1200 people living in an area of 84 square miles. We operate out of 3 stations that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status. LOCATED IN SOUTHEASTERN FLOYD COUNTY IN EASTERN KENTUCKY. A VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPT. WITH A PAID AMBULANCE SERVICE, OFFERING BOTH ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT AND BASIC LIFE SUPPORT SERVICES. FIRE DEPT. OFFERS EXTRICATION AND FIRE ASSISTANCE TO OUR AREA AND SURROUNDING DEPTS. NOT SO EQUIPPED. WITH 52 MEMBERS AND 13 PIECES OF APPARATUS WE SERVE THE SECOND LARGEST COVERAGE AREA IN THE COUNTY.
