About Marysville Fire District:
The Marysville Fire District (MFD) provides fire protection services, advanced life support and basic life support emergency services including patient transport, fire prevention and education services, as well as many other services to the residents of the City of Marysville, Snohomish County Fire District 12, and Smokey Point residents of the City of Arlington for a population of about 55,000 people.
Marysville Fire District’s service response area covers about 55 square miles of rural farmlands, wooded tracts, several lakes, streams and sloughs, Puget Sound, urban, industrial, retail, and commercial
areas. In order to provide protection to this area the Marysville Fire District operates four fire stations, on call 24 hours a day—7 days a week, utilizing 51 full-time employees and 65 part-time firefighters.
Our staff consists of 6 Chief Officers, 1 Public Information Officer, 1 Medical Services Officer, 3 Administrative staff members, 51 full-time firefighters (including 10 Company Officers,12 Firefighter/Paramedics, and 28 Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technicians.), and approximately 65 part-time/on-call firefighters whose main function is to augment station staffing and respond to alarms as needed.
