Marshfield Fire Dept. proudly protects 10000 people living in an area of 10 square miles. We operate out of 3 stations that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. Marshfield Fire Department is made up of a City Dept. and A Rural Dept. Marshfield firemen operate both with each department's equipment. The city is funded by general fund and the Rural Department is a membership operated dept. Any equipment can be used at any function and either area.
