About Manchester Fire and Rescue:
Manchester Fire and Rescue proudly protects 12000 people living in an area of 7 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. The Manchester Fire Department was founded in 1938. We have had 10 previous chiefs. Manchester Fire Dept is led into action by our current Chief,Charles Dobber Weaver. He has been with the department for eleven years, serving as Chief since 1994. We serve the city of Manchester through our hard work and endless training. We do this with support from our Mayor Daugh White and our city council.
