About Campbell County Rescue Squad:
Campbell County Rescue Squad proudly protects 35000 people living in an area of 10 square miles. We operate out of 4 stations that protect a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. All volunteer providing service to Northern part of Campbell County and Northern part of Bedford County, Forest Va. and Evington Va. We are located west of the City of Lynchburg Va. With the Lynchburg Regional Airpoprt being in our coverage area. We have light too heavy industries in our area as well is 5 schools in Bedford Co. and 7 schools in Campbell Co. We also have 1 nursing home in each County.Our Squad supports 4 Fire Depts. on first run basics and responds to the city of Lynchburg when requested. We have major highways Rt. 29, 460 and 221 which 29 & 460 have almost interstate like traffic.
