Luling Volunteer Fire Department proudly protects 8000 people living in an area of 50 square miles. We operate out of 2 stations that protect a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status. Luling is about 45 miles south of Austin. We have served the citizens of Luling and surrounding communities with fire protection for over 125 years. Our department is made up of caring citizens of Luling and Caldwell County. Our mission is to serve and protect.
